2. Marketing 

• Below are 4 of the largest companies in the world, Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple.

• Your task:

  • You can see revenue from 2012-2016, but what is each company projected to earn in revenue in 2017.​ (one sentence, involves research)

  • What is the marketing strategy of each company? Be specific. (one paragraph of 4-8 sentences for each company)

    • Marketing strategies are geared toward increasing revenue, sales and growing users. How does each company acquire clients?

    • Consider this and do your research online: Where do you see their ads? Do they have Advertisements print, tv, radio, web? Do they work with celebrities? Do they sponsor tv shows or have product placement​ somewhere? Do they offer a free service, discounts, or giveaways? Do they have special products or product launches that attract attention?

3. Business Plan

• This year you will be responsible for writing a business plan for your own company. This will involve research, development, critical thinking and patience. Below is a PDF of the PowerPoint ReImagin3D used for their Nationals Pitch which earned them 6th in the Nation. But, no plan is perfect.

  • There are 4 sections in the presentation. Overview, Industry Analysis, Marketing, Finance. (you'll see on the bottom of page 2)

    • Give an in depth criticism of each section and find information in each section that is either confusing or not important and suggest how you would change it. (1-2 paragraphs for each section)
